CRIM 640 - Human Trafficking
This course explores the problem of human trafficking in South Carolina in the context of the overall global phenomenon. The history of human exploitation and the social factors which contribute to this phenomenon (especially on vulnerable populations) are presented. The major forms of human trafficking are defined and discussed along with legal, law enforcement, legislative, executive, and non-profits’ efforts to address the issue. Three credit hours.​
