NUR 641 - Curriculum Dev for Nurse Ed |
This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills in preparation for teaching professional nurses in a practice environment. The course will utilize the most current American Nurses Association Nursing Professional Development Scope & Standards of Practice as a framework for understanding roles and responsibilities of nursing professional development. This course will also utilize the Clinical Nurse Leader competencies as a foundation for equipping students with knowledge and skills in organizational and systems leadership, quality improvement and safety, translating and integrating scholarship into practice, use of informatics and technologies to analyze and improve care practices, and health
policy and advocacy. Pre-requisite: Admitted to MSN program or have completed a MSN program. Three credit hours.
